Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions (WFCU), acting in cooperation with World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU), is a global first responder with relief and recovery aid in support of damaged credit union systems and displaced members in the wake of a disaster.

 

Under WFCU’s Project Storm Break Initiative, we are committed to supporting international credit union systems during times of crisis and strengthening their resilience capacity by providing targeted assistance through disaster relief grants to the affected credit union movements and those seeking for their help (members, employees, etc.)

Ukrainian Displacement Fund

WFCU stands with Ukraine. Since the invasion in February 2022, WFCU has elevated awareness and support of Ukraine's credit union system, raising $1.8 million in support to create seven grant programs, building resiliency in the form of loan reimbursements, fuel coupons and liquidity infusion to allow Ukraine's credit unions to weather the hardships of war.
