Join WFCU in raising support for growing credit unions worldwide while experiencing Vancouver's top attraction, Grouse Mountain!

The chalet will serve as a destination to immerse international guests in Vancouver culture, history and local credit union impact. Proceeds from the gala help to expand World Council's credit union development programs in Latin America, Ukraine and Africa! 

Buses will depart at 6:00 p.m. from the convention center and return at 10:30 p.m. to conference hotels.

Global DE Social

Co-sponsored by WFCU & the CanadaDE program, graduates of Global DE (Development Education) programs are invited to register for the Global DE Social during the 2023 World Credit Union Conference in beautiful Vancouver, BC, Canada.

This social gathering will bring together a powerful group of leaders and provides a unique opportunity to profile DE programs from around the world and build deeper connections within the global DE network. Let’s spend the evening together in a casual setting with a co-operative vibe. Appetizers and a few drinks will be provided; plus cash bar.

Celebration of Light Cruise

Close out your WCUC experience with a once-in-a-lifetime experience to witness Vancouver's annual Celebration of Light Festival on a yacht cruise in English Bay.

By attending, you will help advance WFCU's mission of growing credit unions worldwide in partnership with WOCCU.
  
The cruise facilitates a full buffet dinner with cocktails and refreshments.

Ukraine Breakout Session

A unique opportunity to meet representatives of Ukrainian credit union movement and those supporting it amid Russia’s full-scale invasion.

Join our session to learn about the impact of WFCU’s Ukrainian Credit Union Displacement Fund relief activities in Ukraine, progress of USAID/WOCCU Credit For Agriculture Producers Project, as well as plans for the future to contribute to the country’s early recovery.

Give Back Opportunity

Gather with your fellow WCUC attendees to give back and help clean up a local Vancouver shore-line. This event is in partnership with the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions.

World Council of Credit Unions is partnering with Ocean Wise Shoreline Cleanup in Vancouver to give back to the local community. Ocean Wise Shoreline Cleanup is a citizen science program, dedicated to the collection of shoreline litter and litter data. Together they not only prevent the leak of plastic litter into our Ocean but more importantly collect valuable litter data that helps scientists, policy makers and businesses take meaningful action to prevent harmful plastic pollution.  

Wear comfortable clothes with walking shoes (changing areas are available at the Convention Center)
Buses will depart the Vancouver Convention Center at 3:30 p.m. and return attendees to the CC by 6:00 p.m.

WYCUP Emerging Leaders Summit
