Busia Orphanage

The World Council of Credit Unions and Worldwide Foundation volunteers this spring are planting gardens including bananas and other fruit trees, improving the orphanage kitchen and play areas and many other projects that provide the love and care needed to give the children food security, a safe home and a sense of family and financial inclusion – many for the first time in their lives.

The Turkish Cooperative Earthquake Relief Fund will direct support to mitigate impacts of the recent devastating earthquakes to Turkey’s cooperative movement and those that look to it for support.

Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions (WFCU), in partnership with the World Council (WOCCU), is working with our partners to identify the immediate priority areas where funding is most needed to support cooperatives and their members.
